Use the map to Pensacola Rifle and Pistol Club in this program. DO NOT use a GPS it will take you the wrong way down a barely existing road instead of the maintained range road.

COMPETITION OPEN TO:

All competitors are encouraged, but not required to be individual members of the NRA. A competitor may have a single status: Service, Reserve, Civilian or Police. Note: Status will be used for National Records only; all awards may be made on a classification basis only.

SQUADDING

All matches will be squadded. Squadding packages may be picked up after 12:00 noon, Friday May 4, 2018. The registration office will be open at 7:30 a.m. each match day. Practice will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Friday May 4, 2018.

LIMITED TO 45 COMPETITORS

Early entries are encouraged and given priority. Entries in individual events are made by

completing the following registration form and SR, accompanied by check or money order.

Entries postmarked after April 30 will be considered late and incur an additional fee for the 2700 or the individual .22 Center Fire and .45 Caliber matches. No late fees are assessed on the CMP, Distinguished Revolver and Team Matches. Post entries will be accepted on a space available basis up to 30 minutes prior to a particular match.

RULES

This is an NRA Registered Tournament and all current NRA Precision Pistol rules will govern.

NRA classifications will be used. Scores will be reported to the NRA.

Exception: Current CMP Rules will govern Service Pistol and Rimfire EIC matches.


PROTESTS

Current NRA rules will govern all protests.

SCORING

Scoring will be after each 10 shot string. Competitors will be expected to repair targets after scoring is complete. Shot value challenges will be referred to the range officers. A challenge fee of $3.00 will be charged for each challenge made. See NRA Rule 16 for correct procedure. If upheld, the $3.00 will be returned.

WEAPONS AND AMMUNITION

Weapons: NRA Rules Section 3 details for all individual and team matches.

CMP rules specify which arms may be used for the Service Pistol and .22 EIC matches.

Ammunition: Competitors must furnish their own safe ammunition for all matches, none will be available at the range.

PRIZE SCHEDULE

NRA provides medallions for first, second and third place in the "2700" Grand Aggregate and Lucite medals for the winning teams in the .22, Center Fire and .45 team matches. All other awards are provided by the Pensacola Rifle and Pistol Club. Awards will be made in all individual matches to the winner as well as High Master, Master, Expert, Sharpshooter, Marksman, High Senior and High Woman. There will be one award per each five competitors. Cash awards to be announced later based on total entries.

All competitors that have a paid entry in Conventional Pistol will be entered in a special drawing for an item (to be determined).

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

For the purposed of National Records only, except in the service pistol match, competitors will be divided into categories as follows: members of the active Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Air Force will make up the service category. Members of the National Guard and Reserve components will comprise the reserve category. Members of the federal, state, county, municipal and industrial police (Rule 2.4) will comprise the police category. All others will be categorized as civilian (Rule 2.2). all awards will be made in accordance with the NRA classification system. Class awards will be given in High Master, Master, Expert, Sharpshooter and Marksman classes. Unclassified shooters will compete in the Master class. Match awards will be made if there are five or more competitors in a class. If fewer than five, the NRA method of combining classes will be followed. There will be one award per aggregate/grand aggregate per class per gun.

Match #10: Aggregate of Matches 6, 7, 8 and 9

Center Fire Matches

Match #11: 20 shots slow fire (50 yards)

Match #12: National Match Course

Match #13: 20 shots timed fire (25 yards)

Match #14: 20 shots rapid fire (25 yards)

Match #15: Aggregate of Matches 11, 12, 13 and 14

CMP Excellence in Competition and NRA Distinguished Revolver

These matches will be fired AFTER the conclusion of Center Fire on Saturday, May 5, 2018. These three matches will be fired in consecutive order.

Entries limited to 45 competitors.

CMP .22 Rimfire EIC Match.

Course of Fire: National Match Course

Rules: CMP Competition Rules for .22 EIC Pistol. Competitors MUST begin Timed and Rapid Fire

from a 45 degree position or if the table will not allow it, as close to 45 degree angle as possible

without touching the table. The pistol may be raised when the targets turn.

Arm: See CMP Rule 6.4 for list of approved features.

Awards: Credit toward Distinguished Rimfire designation, determined by the CMP. Gold, silver

and bronze CMP achievement pins for scores in accordance with the 2018 CMP Rules.

CMP Service Pistol Match.

Course of Fire: National Match Course

Rules: CMP Competition Rules for Service Pistol

Arm: Service Pistol. See Rule 6.3.4 for descriptions.

Ammunition: See Rule 6.6.2. May use any safe ammunition that is loaded with metal jacketed

bullets. Non-jacketed, wad-cutter or lead bullets may not be used.

Awards: Credit toward Distinguished designation, determined by the CMP. Gold, silver and

bronze CMP achievement pins for scores in accordance with the 2018 CMP Rules.

NRA Distinguished Revolver Match.

Course of Fire: National Match Course

Rules: Current NRA Rules

Arm: NRA rule 3.1.4

Awards: Credit toward the NRA Distinguished Revolver Badge determined by rule 23.3

NRA requires participation in all or part of the 2700 to qualify for leg points.

Scores fired by team members over the .45 caliber National Match Course. Match #27: Four Man Team Hardball Match.

Scores fired by team members over the .45 caliber National Match Course. Match #28: Four Man Team Championship Aggregate of scores fired by team members in Matches 24, 25 and 26.

Directions to Pensacola Rifle and Pistol Club

Pensacola Rifle & Pistol, 2700 Mathison Rd, Molino, FL 32577

From the north. Take U.S. 29 south until you enter enter Molino. Watch for the fire watch tower on the left and prepare to turn right (west) in .75 mile onto Mathison Rd. Proceed west until the end of the pavement and make a left, then straight to the range gate.

From the south. The range is located 4.3 miles north of the International Paper mill in Cantonment, FL. When you see a scrapyard on the right with a red car on a post, be prepared to turn left (west) at the top of the hill (directly opposite the Escambia County Clinic. Proceed west until the end of the pavement and make a left, then straight to the range gate.

Follow the range road until you arrive at the firing lines. The pistol range is in the middle of the long covered firing line.
